United Review: Once in a lifetime experience!
It's an award-winning tourist destination, a magnificent stadium, an interesting day out and home to the most successful team in English football.
The stadium tour is excellent. It starts in the trophy room (which is obviously very full) and museum, your guide then leads you inside the 'Theatre of Dreams' to take in the awe-inspiring view of the England's second biggest stadium in all its glory. There are plenty of photo ops aside the pitch here. You then head down to pitchside where you can sit in the dugout a-la Sir Alex, before heading back outside to learn a bit more about United's moving and romantic history as you walk beneath the Munich clock and through the tunnel to take the players' entrance. This leads you into the players' lounge and then the changing rooms where you can have your photo taken aside your favourite player's shirt. Then it's time for food in the great Red Cafe, and obviously the tour ends in the megastore where you can fill your boots with Manchester United logo-emblazoned anything.

We All Follow United: Why we love Manchester United
Ask anyone in the world about football, and the first thing they think of is Manchester United. The 'Red Devils' (Manchester United's nickname) are so well known and respected all over the world, that even kids who play football on the beaches in Thailand and the kids who kick a ball about in the slums of Peru, recognise the name of Manchester United immediately. They know that Man Utd are the most famous football team in the world.
My own personal passion is the famous Stretford End at Old Trafford, home of Manchester United. I love to collect pictures and information about the most famous football terrace in the world. The Stretford End is a stand on the west side of Old Trafford. It took its name from the nearby town of Stretford, as it is in the direction of Stretford, looking from the centre of the pitch. The Stretford End was the main standing area of Old Trafford, accommodating around 20,000 fans. It was once measured that the roar of the crowd from the Stretford End was louder than a Jumbo Jet taking off. That's how loud it used to be!! The last game played in front of the famous old terrace was a 3,1 win over Spurs on 2 May 1992, the final game of the 1991,92 First Division campaign. Only Denis Law and Eric Cantona have reached the status 'King of the Stretford End' among the United faithful. The former for his formidable goal record, and now Denis Law has his own statue on the Stretford End, the latter for his on-pitch charisma and aura.
Who will next be crowned the 'King Of The Stretford End' amongst the United faithful?
LOVE UNITED - HATE GLAZER
Love United Hate Glazers' say Manchester United fans! Green & Gold until we're sold... True United fans want their club back. Anti-Glazer protests at United are not just the domain of the angry youth but involve ordinary fans who fear for their club. Man Utd Anti Glazer T-Shirts are now available. Get back to the original Manchester United and wear your green and gold 'Newton Heath' scarves with pride. The move, sparked by a suggestion on the Red Issue online forum, to adopt the colours of United's forerunners, Newton Heath, has proved massively successful and visible. MUST, the supporters' group, has sold scarves to fans in New Zealand, Argentina, the Far East and even Tampa, Florida, the home city of the Glazers. More than 70,000 are believed to have been sold by various vendors, after David Beckham wore the scarf in a Champions League game at Old Trafford.
Old Trafford - 100 Years!
Old Trafford, the stadium of Manchester United was 100 years old on February 19th 2010. On Saturday February 19th 1910, a crowd of 80,000 watched the first ever game at the famous ground, as Man United lost to Liverpool 4-3. A journalist at the game reported this 'The stadium is the most handsomest, the most spacious and the most remarkable arena I have ever seen. As a football ground it is unrivalled in the world, it is an honour to Manchester and the home of a team who can do wonders when they are so disposed'.
In the past 100 years Old Trafford has hosted World Cup and European Championship matches, FA Cup Finals and a Champions League Final and has witnessed countless Manchester United wins, draws and defeats. The ground was given the nickname the Theatre of Dreams by United legend Bobby Charlton, and has been Manchester United's permanent home since 1910.
